Brian Green is a sound artist living in South Carolina, USA. For this half an hour long tape Brian recorded various instruments in an improv session and then processed them further on a computer. The result is a distant sounding ambient collage of acoustic instruments, tape hiss, bowed drones and keyboard sounds, all drowning in reverb. Poly boxes with artwork by Sasha Kretova. Tulasi / Caligine split C40

Tulasi is a Finnish duo, who are also known for their solo projects Kulkija and Kutomo as well as being involved in various free folk collectives. Their side consists of meditative drone-folk tracks, organ sounds and flute melodies creating tranquil spheres, at times more free-flowing, sometimes rhythmic. The other side of the tape is Caligine, a psych-folk project from Italy continuing the dronefolk theme, but in a slightly different manner. Starting with electric guitar feedback noise, the massive track turns into a beautiful and melodic acoustic guitar piece. Poly boxes with artwork by Anya Kuts. Limited to 75 copies.

Wolf Flourescenece is an ambient music project of Ross Devlin, based in Memphis, TN. Unwavering, Achronymous is the man's debut tape release, that Jozik is proud to put out. The tape features two tracks of ambient goodness, ranging from minimal synthy sounds to distant hum and noises. Cold but soothing, this is the music for quiet winter nights with a candle light. Banana Pill from Finland on side A offer the listener two tracks, one being an ambient drone piece with lo-fi sampling and looped wind instruments and the other one being a more melodic dronefolk piece with synth drones, guitar, violin, and of course, tons of looped sounds. Timothy C Holehouse, an Englishman better known as blues musician Tim Holehouse, offers us a 20 minute track comprised of guitar drones and melodies. At times it all gets very quiet, droney and even dark, but next you hear birds singing and guitar playing a simple melody. The tapes come in black carton boxes with an artwork. Limited to 80 copies.

Kheta Hotem are here to put on a shamanistic show of komutian music experience! This time Jozik has the honour to be releasing it. The Komuts are an ancient finno-ugric people who wandered through Siberia to Finland about 1000 BC. Kheta Hotem is a collective, who gather once in a while to continue the everlasting komutian musical tradition. This CD-R is a recording of one of those gatherings. Throat singing, tons of percussions, sort of free jazzy saxophone, lots of chanting all played by members of different free folk collectives and projects. What can you expect really? This record really takes you to places. The CD-R comes in a plastic sleeve with a crochet insert and a photo. Limited to 75 hand-numbered copies.

Glina "Spiritual safety" C50

Glina describe themselves as a jam band from St. Petersburg, yet they are far from sounding like your everyday jam-rock band. Slow rhythm-section sounds almost tribal, saxophone and guitar create eerie sounding drones. Spiced up with some speech fragments, the band creates some very intense and at times quite dark atmospheres. Six killer tracks on an almost 50-minute cassette, this is drone-rock at it's best! Electronic birds and animals singing in outer space. Norway's experimentators Bjerga/Iversen present us a droney and quite minimalistic sound passage.
